Equality and Equal Opportunity The Company embraces the principle of equality among all employees and is committed to providing equal opportunities. No employee shall be subject to discrimination on the grounds of gender, race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, religion, disability, social status, political opinion or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. ### b. Recruitment and Employment Candidates are assessed solely on the basis of their skills, experience and qualifications throughout the recruitment process. All recruitment and employment decisions are made according to objective criteria, free from discrimination or bias. ## Combating Discrimination ### a. Definition and Prohibition of Discrimination The Company clearly defines discrimination and strictly prohibits all forms of discriminatory conduct against employees. Discrimination includes any direct or indirect unfair treatment or differential treatment at any stage of employment, including recruitment, promotion, remuneration and training. ### b. Complaint and Violation Reporting Procedures Employees are provided with a safe channel through which they may report complaints relating to discrimination. Procedures are established to ensure that all complaints are handled confidentially and investigated effectively. In such cases, employees may use the “Speak Up!” communication channel available through the Company’s intranet. ## Diversity and Inclusion ### a. Diversity Assessment The Company evaluates the representation of diversity across its workforce and establishes relevant diversity objectives. Employee data is reviewed regularly to assess progress towards these objectives and to further develop the Company’s diversity strategies. ### b. Training and Awareness Employees are provided with awareness and training programmes on diversity, and the Company expects all employees to demonstrate awareness of diversity-related matters. Efforts are made to strengthen awareness of diversity and inclusion through internal communication and employee engagement. ### c. Career Development and Progression The Company supports development and career progression policies designed to ensure that all employees have access to equal career opportunities.
