From Our Major Achievement in 2021 to New Finalist Recognitions
At Kriko, we were named one of the region’s leading boutique SEO agencies after winning the “Best Small SEO Agency” award at the 2021 MENA Search Awards. In addition to receiving this award during our first participation, we were also selected as finalists in six other categories that same year. In 2023, we continued our international success journey by becoming finalists in two different categories with the SEO projects we carried out for Petrol Ofisi and Bella Maison.
Since the day Kriko was founded, we have built our SEO strategies around measurable business results and sustainable organic growth. Rather than operating as a separate service provider, we work as an extension of our clients’ internal SEO teams. This approach allows us to understand each brand’s needs more closely and develop comprehensive, long-term initiatives ranging from technical SEO to content strategy. We see our achievements at the MENA Search Awards as an important indication that this working model is also recognised internationally.
Best Small SEO Agency Award in Our First Year
The year 2021 marked an important milestone in Kriko’s international awards journey. During our first participation in the MENA Search Awards, we were named the winner of the “Best Small SEO Agency” category. In the same year, we were also selected as finalists in six additional categories, gaining recognition not only for our agency structure but also for the projects we delivered together with our clients. This result demonstrated that the strategies developed by our young and dynamic team were appreciated by a judging panel composed of leading search marketing professionals from across the region.
Winning the Best Small SEO Agency award during our first participation meant much more to us than simply earning an important title. It showed that our way of working, team culture, and integrated SEO approach met international standards. It also strengthened the confidence of the Kriko team and provided significant motivation to develop more comprehensive projects and bring our success stories to international platforms. Two New Finalist Recognitions in 2023
Following the award we received in 2021, we continued to take our work further and present our strongest SEO projects on international platforms. During the 2023 MENA Search Awards, we became finalists with two separate projects delivered in partnership with Bella Maison and Petrol Ofisi. Our “Fill up the Gas Tank!” project with Petrol Ofisi was selected as a finalist in the Best Local Campaign SEO category. Our “Expecto Patronum” project for Bella Maison was also shortlisted in the Best Use of Search B2C SEO category.
Both projects required tailored SEO strategies aligned with different industries, user behaviours, and commercial objectives. For this reason, we did not manage them through standard solutions, but through research, technical analysis, content planning, and optimisation processes shaped around the specific needs of each brand. Over the course of several months, we approached every stage holistically, from competitor analysis and algorithm updates to technical SEO improvements and content structures aligned with user search intent. These finalist recognitions demonstrated that industry professionals valued not only the results we achieved, but also the way we developed and implemented our strategies.
