Working Hours
a. Standard Working Hours
- The Company’s standard working hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday is off after 12:30 p.m.
- Working hours may vary depending on the department and position.
- The established rules governing exceptional working arrangements, including overtime and night shifts, shall apply where relevant.
b. Flexible Working Hours
- Flexible working hours may be implemented for certain departments and positions.
- During the Company’s standard working hours, an employee may take time away from work for a personal matter, provided that the same amount of time is made up outside their regular working hours.
- The employee must request permission from their direct manager in advance and obtain approval before using this arrangement.
- Flexible working hours are intended to help employees balance business requirements with personal needs.
Leave
a. Annual Leave
Employees are entitled to annual leave based on their length of service from the date on which their employment begins.
Annual leave entitlements are as follows:
- Employees who have completed two full years of service are entitled to 14 days of annual leave.
- Employees with between two and five years of service are entitled to 21 days of annual leave.
- Employees who have completed five or more full years of service are entitled to 30 days of annual leave.
Annual leave entitlements are determined in accordance with applicable local legislation and Company policies.
Annual leave is planned and approved by taking both employee requests and business requirements into consideration.
b. Other Types of Leave
Employees may also be entitled to other forms of leave, including sick leave, maternity leave, marriage leave, bereavement leave and public holidays.
- Paternity Leave: Male employees who become fathers are entitled to 21 days of leave.
- Maternity Leave: Female employees who become mothers are entitled to one additional month of leave in addition to the statutory six-month maternity leave period.
- Birthday Leave: All employees are entitled to one day of birthday leave, which may only be used within one month of their birthday.
All types of leave are determined in accordance with applicable local legislation and Company policies.
Leave requests must be submitted and approved in accordance with the relevant internal procedures.
c. Leave Request and Approval Process
- Leave requests must be submitted through the designated forms or the Company’s leave management system.
- All leave requests are reviewed and approved by the relevant managers.
- The communication and feedback procedures relating to leave requests are defined by the Company.
- Employees must remain mindful of the requirement to respond to client requests within 24 hours, regardless of the type of leave being taken. Where an employee is unable to respond to a request while on leave, they are expected to promptly forward or assign the request to a team member.
Absence
a. Late Arrival and Early Departure
- All instances of late arrival or early departure must be properly recorded and reported.
- Disciplinary procedures may be applied in cases of repeated or persistent late arrival or early departure.
b. Unauthorised Absence
- Disciplinary procedures may be applied in cases of absence without prior authorisation.
- Unauthorised absences are communicated, monitored and managed in accordance with the established procedures.
c. Absence Records and Reporting
- Records of employee absences are maintained and reported.
- Absence records may be used to support operational planning and assess employee performance.
